Outstanding filly for dressage, eventing, working equitation - this girl is athletic and bold, and will do whatever you ask!

Rising 4yo filly by XERIFE (15.3hh Lusitano stallion standing at Mystery Creek Lusitanos), out of MONTERA (17hh TB mare by High Chaparral). Currently standing at approx. 15.3hh (home measured).

Talia has been raised in large hilly paddocks in a herd with our TB youngsters. She's been professionally handled since birth, received appropriate nutrition, been vaccinated, microchipped (not branded), and regularly trimmed and drenched. She is tall and leggy but with a bit of oomph and body to her, has correct conformation, and very good quality hard feet. Does windsuck if the opportunity presents itself, but is respectful of tape so easy to keep her off the fences. Happy to settle in paddocks alone or with friends, and in stables or yards. Never been unsound or injured.

Talia has been through the boxes several times for some further education, and in the space of a couple of days she was cover trained, walked onto and stood calmly on the float, been tied up and brushed, and had her legs hosed off - standing like an old hack.
She also picked up being lunged very quickly, and lunged well enough on her 3rd or 4th session that I was able to video her at the same time as lunging.
She had a go through the free jumping lane, and was forward, athletic and bold over the jumps.

She really impressed me with her attitude, learning all these new skills so quickly! She is curious, bold and brave, and very intelligent - typical of the Lusitano breed. She wants to be with you, doing stuff... she will need an experienced owner who can appreciate and keep up with her busy mind, as she is one of those clever fillies who would take the mickey if given the chance. But give her a job to do and keep her challenged and engaged, and she will be a superstar.

I bred Talia to be my next dressage horse & allrounder, however a change of circumstances sadly means she is now looking for a new owner. Talia can be registered with the Lusitano Horse Association of Australia as a "Luso Sport Horse" prior to departure.
