Goss Green Mistral - Millie
D.O.B - 20/11/2016
Roughly 15.1hh, measured 151cm as a 2yo but has grown.
Sire - Goss Green Mirage (KWPN - Pinto sporthorse)
Dam - Sherwood SmallTalk (English riding pony)
We have had Millie since she was 7 months old and she has been a lovely horse to produce. She has a sweet, kind personality and loves to please. She is a good doer and mainly lives on grass with chaff for her vitamins and minerals.
She did a season of pinto in-hand as a 2yo and placed at every show and went to HOY. We did two shows for ridden pinto and she did well. She has been produced slowly and carefully and not rushed in any way.
Flatwork has been our main focus and she has competed in level 1 registered dressage and begun schooling lateral work. This is an area I feel she will excel in and she enjoys. She scored between 58% and 65% in her first season of dressage.
She has been to the beach, road rides, farm rides, pole work and schooled over small jumps at home but this is not our focus. She enjoys exploring new places and is brave, she has a great walk and strides out.
She is good to take out and about by herself or with others and stands happily at the float or in a yard. She can be hacked out by herself or in a group and is used to busy roads with motorbikes, trucks and cars.
She is good to float (angle and straight) clip, worm, wash, shoe/trim (currently barefoot but was shod when competing in full work) and for the dentist/vet etc. She can be paddocked by herself or with others but prefers to have a horse in sight if paddocked alone.
Millie is looking for someone that will give her a lot of variety and enjoy getting out and about! She is easy to have around and do anything with. Millie has no dirt and would suit a teen or adult as long as they are confident and experienced. I do not think Millie will enjoy hunting so please do not enquire if this is your main focus.
I am in no rush to sell Millie and she will only be going to an experienced home that I feel she will be successful in with the right person who will get the best out of her. Millie is for sale because I have two jobs, am studying and have another horse so I do not have time for two horses and Millie deserves to be out and about having fun.
Millie is currently in light work, hacking a few times a week.
Millie has pink skin so needs her legs to be protected from the sun - this can be discussed further but she comes with rugs etc to manage this and it is not difficult.
