Southcote Double Dash

Dash is a bay colt with a small star and white front pasterns.

His DOB is 24 Dec 2020, EMH 16.1hh and he's been registered with the NZ Warmblood Association and has a full passport which will come with him.

Dash is microchipped and has had his two tetanus vaccines and has been wormed regularly since birth.

He has been professionally handled and has a good understanding of basic cues. He leads well and ties up without fuss. Good to catch, have his feet trimmed and loads in the float with confidence. He loves his food and enjoys coming into the stables and yards to hang out.

Brought up on large acreage, he also ran in a small herd of four mares and foals from a week old and is now running with a mixed age group of geldings. This environment enables the youngsters to play as young animals. It is a joy to see them galloping around the field. It improves bone density, builds muscle tone and sure footedness.

Dash has beautiful movement with some lovely elevation and we anticipate with his breeding that he will excel as a show jumper or eventer.

By Eurosport Dimero NNZ whose sire is the impressive Diamant De Semilly, who was placed best show jumping sire in the world (2015 and 2016) . Diamant De Semilly, was an exceptional showjumper, with a strong back, scope, great balance, wonderful canter, suppleness, power, ease and willingness. His damsire, Casper Van Erpekom, a stunning piebald who carries the blood of Carthago; and 2nd damsire, Querleybet Hero, a 1.60m Show jumper by Olympic Gold Medalist Baloubet De Rouet

Out of Springbank Lady, one of our thoroughbred broodmares whose sire is Nediym. She was chosen due to her excellent conformation and her good nature. She is an excellent mother and is the mare who keeps her foal to the end of weaning as she takes beautiful care of all the foals in the herd.
