Horse for sale

Bred for show jumping, Tartan is a 6 year old mare by Centavos. She has been slowly produced with a few small outings last summer. She is proving to be a confident jumper stamped with her fathers genes. She took her first outings in her stride calmly waiting her turn and jumping well in the 80 and 90cm classes.
Tartan has been carefully produced and given plenty of time to develop. She hasn't been officially measured she is approximately 16.1hh. She is easy to keep in excellent condition and has been mainly grass fed.
Tartan would suit an experienced rider who could use her in any number of disciplines although she is particularly bred for show jumping. She is currently being school by Sam Carrington of Double J stud. Prior to that she spent a couple of weeks at the Massie Showjumping stables being schooled. Last summer she was ridden by a young show jumping rider.
Tartan is a social horse to have around and loves people. She is easy to catch and handle. She is unfazed around dogs, stock, loud traffic etc. She is ridden in a snaffle bit and a wide gullet saddle. She is ready for a competitive rider who will give her the opportunity to fulfil her potential.
