Hugo is a beautiful, big-colored gelding.
He came to us as a green 4-year-old with little exposure to the world. Since then he has come leaps and bounds.
Evented to 80cm - ready to step up. Brave on the cross county. Schooled to 95cm
We have show jumped to 1m and schooled 110/115. We are working on strength training and he literally loves his work.
Great to ride on the flat - was a blank canvas when we purchased him and is now working well and learning to keep the contact.
Has the most beautiful paces, a nice active walk, and incredible canter.
Good to hack out alone or in company, fantastic in traffic, we live on a pretty busy road into town so lots of trucks passing all the time.

Float - (Our float is rear facing angle, he goes on no worries and happily turns. I dont have a straight loader but I dont see any problems with him on a straight either.)

We believe Hugo would be a fabulous hunter but could also turn his hoof to anything including eventing/showjumping/trekking/pleasure/pony club/show hunter.
He is great in a group riding out and on his own,
He has all of the basics installed and is ready for a rider to further his education in any discipline.
Has some minor quirks which can be further discussed however absolutely no dirt and has is a real genuine boy who wants to please.
Genuine reason for selling and will only be sold to approved, capable homes. Not for inexperienced or nervous riders.
Im 52 and love to ride him, he is a genuine try-to-please kind of boy. Easy to keep and just a lovely boy who will be sadly missed. Genuine reason for finding Hugo his new home.
