Bingley Olivine - Stationbred x Thoroughbred 5 year old chestnut mare. Purpose bred sporthorse from Bingley stud. Approx 15.2-3. Still growing/filling out, should mature as a solid 15.3.

Very sweet and cuddly mare who loves people and is very level headed. Bred to jump and be a reliable allrounder with athleticism and brains. This is a really cool little horse who will turn her hand to whatever you like – eventing, dressage, hunters, working equitation would be right up her alley

Quietly started over the last 18 months. She has been very easy and a lot of fun to bring on. She has lovely paces, moves straight, with a big trot, a nice balanced canter. Quite a compact horse, cruisy to ride and likes her job.

Because of where I live, she hasn’t done too much competing but is always a star when taken out. Great out hacking, and very sure footed. Goes out on her own away from home. Good with dogs and stock

Easy to handle on the ground. No vices, Great floater, self loads and stands quietly while travelling. Lives in a herd and is an easy keeper. I haven’t noticed any difference in her when in season. Can leave her for several weeks and just jump on and go. Has been living on a farm next to a heli port and target shooting

Pretty tough wee thing with great feet, and just gets a rug when its wet and cold. Shes been on the coast a couple of years now so well hardened to coast weather!

I bought Olive as a project and have kept her far longer than planned as shes just so nice to have around. She would be suited to a competent rider capable of producing a green horse.

I have some video of her jumping lesson I can send through to serious enquiries.

Currently in Hokitika until the end of January
