Telestory (Harriet or Harry) is a 17 year old genuine schoolmistress by Voltaire II out of Telepathic (Telereign)
Harry is a competitive, safe 2* eventer who is also a safe full wire hunter, 1.30m showjumper and level 3 dressage horse. She is great to hack out alone or on large treks, and is fantastic to shoe, float, truck, clip etc and is extremely well mannered. She has always been sound and has passed her trot ups with ease. While I have predominantly evented her, we have also represented Hawkes’ Bay Area Pony Club in dressage, show jumping and eventing. She is a genuine A certificate mount.
Some of her best results with me include:
- Puhinui International 3Day CCI1* (new 2*) Junior Rider Champs 2017 – 2nd, 2018 – 3rd
- ESNZ Eventing Junior Rider Series 2017/2018 – 1st
- Arran Station 2017 CNC* Young Rider Champs – 2nd
- NZPCA Dressage Champs 2018 – 2nd (70.3), 3rd (71.1), 2020 – 6th
- Taupo Feb 2018 CNC* -3rd
- NRM National 3Day 2018 CCN105 -3rd
- NZPCA Eventing Champs 2019 A1 -6th
She has also placed at many other events and rarely comes home without a placing.
There are few results from 2019/20 due to rider illness.
Although Harry is the ultimate schoolmistress, she is not a beginner’s horse. Despite her age she still feels and moves like a young horse and has so much more to teach a junior rider or adult.
She really looks after her rider when jumping and produces a lovely dressage test. She doesn’t tend to be grass affected or mareish and is the same to ride every day. Harry is a very genuine allrounder who is a pleasure to own and is a huge part of this family. She is well known and loved in many riding circles, and is a very special horse, making this a heart-breaking sale. As I have moved to Auckland for university I am unable to ride her. She is currently kept in work and will be competed this season.
Harry will only go to the best of homes. She could go eventing, showjumping, showhunting, hunting or straight dressage, however I would prefer a home where she still gets to jump as she loves it!
